What is Apron?

Apron is an NBA front office intelligence platform. It gives basketball fans, analysts, and media professionals the ability to ask real front office questions: trade feasibility, salary cap implications, and apron status. Every answer is grounded in actual CBA rules, not approximations.

Data & Accuracy

All salary figures reflect a 2025-26 season snapshot. Roster moves, trades, and signings that occurred after the data was last updated may not be reflected. Cap figures for 2026-27 are projected based on available estimates and are not yet official.

How It Works

• 3Queries are processed by Claude (Anthropic), with CBA math handled by a deterministic rules engine, not AI guesswork
• 4Simple queries use a lightweight model; complex trade validations use a more powerful model automatically
